RemoteAgents v1.1
LogicJunction announces the release of its RemoteAgents product. RemoteAgents are a real time 3D avatar technology, capable of animation, text to speech, and artificial intelligence. Because avatars are rendered in real time, the product is extremely flexible. Individual user data can be accessed and the avatars can alter what they say to each user. RemoteAgents are optimized for use on the web, and are designed to function on any operating system and browser that supports Java, without the need to install any additional software.

COSE
LogicJunction is assisting COSE in the creation of an Intelligent Enrollment Portal. The Council of Small Enterprise (COSE), Ohio has contracted with LogicJunction to build a portal to assist users in their enrollment application process, and to provide them with information about additional COSE services.

Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing
Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing partners with LogicJunction to create a simulation aimed at reducing health disparities. The simulation allows end users to interact with several avatars, who take the role of receptionist, nurse or doctor, with a view to enhancing communication between the patient and health care professionals. This project is funded by the National Institutes of Health / National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities.

The Boon Group
LogicJunction agrees to create an avatar who assists users interacting with The Boon Group's web-based insurance benefits enrollment engine. The intelligent avatar greets the employee and provides an overview of the enrollment process, provides directions and information on a page by page basis, delivers prompts when a specific choice is made or a button is pressed, answers FAQs specific to a page, and up-sells or cross-sells when specific coverages are not selected.
